1. Who we are

Toward Perfection is an online school for mobility, strength, and handstand practice. We are operated by Artem Maliutin, individual entrepreneur registered in Georgia (registration ID: 55 0846898). Contact: hello@toward-perfection.com

2. What data we collect

When you create an account or use our service, we collect:

• Email address — required for authentication
• Full name and avatar — optional, set by you in your profile
• Bio and Instagram handle — optional, set by you
• Lesson progress and points — to track your learning journey
• Activity feed entries — when you complete lessons or interact with the community

We do not collect payment card data directly. Payments are handled by our payment provider (Lemon Squeezy), which has its own privacy policy.

3. How we use your data

• To provide access to your account and courses
• To track your progress and display it in your profile
• To send transactional emails (sign-in links, password reset)
• To show your activity in the community feed (if you choose to participate)

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

4. Third-party services

We use the following services to operate the platform:

• Supabase — database and authentication (servers in EU)
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Vimeo — video hosting for lessons
• Lemon Squeezy — payment processing (when applicable)
• Railway — cloud hosting for the web application

5. Cookies

We use only strictly necessary cookies to maintain your authenticated session (set by Supabase Auth). These cookies are essential for the service to function and do not require your consent under GDPR. We do not use tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies.

6. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data (name, bio, avatar) is removed. Progress records may be retained in aggregate anonymized form for up to 90 days after deletion.

7. Your rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Union, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”)
• Export your data in a portable format
• Object to or restrict processing

8. Security

We use industry-standard security practices: encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication tokens, and access controls. No system is 100% secure — if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Significant changes will be communicated via email. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
